Financial Planning Should Begin with Your Story
Every financial decision is connected to something personal: the retirement you envision, the family you want to support, the lifestyle you have worked to build or the legacy you hope to leave behind.
EFC Wealth Management was created to help individuals and families bring these priorities into a more coordinated financial strategy. Our work begins by listening, understanding what matters most and helping clients navigate the decisions ahead with greater clarity.
Built Around Education and Understanding
Financial planning can feel complicated. Retirement income, investments, taxes, healthcare and estate considerations are often discussed separately, even though decisions in one area may affect several others.
EFC takes a connected approach. We help clients understand how different areas of their financial lives may work together, while explaining important concepts in clear, practical language.
Our goal is not to overwhelm clients with information. It is to help them ask better questions, evaluate their choices and make informed decisions based on their individual circumstances.

The Vision Behind EFC

EFC Wealth Management was founded by Cory Chapman with a vision of making retirement and wealth planning more understandable, personal and purposeful.
With more than 30 years of financial-services experience, Cory has worked with individuals and families navigating retirement, wealth management and major financial transitions. His educational approach also led him to author The Retirement Game and develop the Code to Retirement™ framework.
Today, EFC continues that vision by combining financial education with personalized planning and ongoing guidance.
Experience, publications and professional recognition do not guarantee investment performance or client results.
A More Connected Approach to Retirement
We believe retirement planning involves more than investments alone. A thoughtful strategy may need to consider five connected areas:

Investments
Aligning your portfolio with your objectives, timeline, liquidity needs and capacity for risk.

Income Planning
Understanding how Social Security, pensions, retirement accounts, savings and other resources may support retirement expenses.

Tax-Aware Planning
Recognizing how withdrawals and financial decisions may affect your tax position while coordinating with qualified tax professionals.

Healthcare
Preparing for Medicare, insurance premiums, out-of-pocket expenses and possible long-term care needs.

Legacy Planning
Helping connect financial resources, beneficiary arrangements and family priorities with guidance from qualified legal professionals.
No financial strategy can eliminate every risk or guarantee future results.
What Guides Our Work
Education Before Decisions
We believe clients should understand the purpose, potential benefits, costs, risks and limitations of a financial recommendation before making a decision.
Individualized Planning
No two financial journeys are identical. Recommendations should reflect each client’s goals, resources, responsibilities and circumstances.
Clear Communication
Financial topics should be explained in language clients can understand without unnecessary complexity.
Ongoing Review
Financial plans may need to evolve as markets, laws, family circumstances and personal priorities change.
Professional Coordination
When appropriate, we work alongside clients’ attorneys, tax professionals and other qualified specialists to support a more connected planning process.
